The Festival
Paraíso is Sri Lanka's first internationally curated dance festival, happening from October 31st to November 2nd, 2025, at the historic Mount Lavinia Hotel, followed by a post-festival Travel Adventure from November 3rd to 5th, 2025.
This curated tour blends adventure, dance and exploration, giving guests the chance to explore the hidden gems of the island, dance in stunning natural locations and connect with fellow dancers in a truly unforgettable way.
Organized in partnership with national institutions, international dance schools and global media, the festival aims to position Sri Lanka as South Asia's next big destination for dance tourism.

The Venue

The Mount Lavinia Hotel is perched atop a promontory surrounded by the Indian Ocean. Newsweek Magazine described the Mount Lavinia Hotel Terrace as "One of the World's Best Gathering Places."
Set apart by its unique colonial heritage, historical love story and breathtaking views, the hotel is one of the few, if not the only, establishment with easily accessible beach facilities within the Colombo city limits.

Day 01
Welcome to Sri Lanka, the Pearl of the Indian Ocean!
November 3rd
Your adventure begins as we depart from Mount Lavinia Hotel and head south along Sri Lanka’s breathtaking coastline.
- Discover the island’s iconic handcrafted masks at Ambalangoda Mask Factory.
- Stroll through cobblestone streets, boutique shops and oceanfront walls inside the Galle Dutch Fort (UNESCO Heritage Site).
Enjoy Lunch inside the Fort with stunning views of the sea.
Continue the scenic journey to Yala through lush landscapes and coastal beauty.
Check into your hotel, refresh and dance the night away at Evening Socials in the wild southeast of Sri Lanka.
Your first day is all about history, culture and setting the rhythm for an unforgettable adventure.
Day 02
Wildlife & the Journey to the Coast!
November 4th
Spot majestic leopards, elephants, crocodiles and over 200 exotic bird species on a 4-hour Morning Safari through the Yala National Park.
Return to your hotel for a quick refresh and checkout.
Journey north towards the golden beaches of Bentota, your coastal retreat for the next two days.
Enjoy some Leisure Time—relax by the ocean, unwind and recharge after an action-packed safari.
As the sun sets, come together for music, dancing and tropical cocktails under the stars at the Beachside Dance Social.
Day 02 is about thrill and tranquility; from the wild jungles of Yala to the serene beaches of Bentota.
Day 03
RIVER SAFARI TO FAREWELL RHYTHMS
November 5th
Glide through lush mangroves, discover hidden islands and witness the charm of riverside village life during the Madu Ganga River Safari.
Visit the Turtle Hatchery to meet Sri Lanka’s gentle sea turtles and learn about local conservation efforts.
Take some Afternoon Leisure to unwind at your hotel or stroll along Bentota’s golden beach.
- At the Full Moon Beach Social, close your journey with an unforgettable night of dancing under the moonlight, barefoot in the sand, surrounded by waves, music and the global dance family.
Day 03 is the perfect balance of nature, culture and celebration, sending you home with memories that last a lifetime.

RETURN TO COLOMBO
November 6th
- After breakfast, drive back to Colombo, concluding the main Travel Adventure.
